Hey Peter, what are the chances of a Cubs/Red Sox world series this year? By the way, I only became somewhat interested in the Red Sox after seeing the movie "Fever Pitch".
Chuck,
No chance I think. The stars need to be lined up in some bizarre way to get Cubs and Red Sox in the same series.
Fever Pitch is a better film than I thought. I saw it thanks to XRT's Norm Winer who turned me on to it. He's from Boston- was known as Saxaphone Joe on WBCN in the 70s in Boston. I told him to see Game Six- a Michael Keaton film.
Game Six is about the '86 Red Sox, right, the Bill Buckner debacle? Haven't seen it but I'll put it on my list, thanks.
I concur, a Cubs/Red Sox series is highly unlikely.
Chuck,
Yep. Michael Keaton plays a playwrite who is a Sox fan and has a play opening on the day of game 6. Very good film, it was written by the greatt Don Delillo.
